HiTex Drilling is an energy field service company with operations out of Fort Worth, Mineral Wells, and Houston. It provides drilling and support rigs with highly experienced crews to third party energy companies and service equipment to third party drilling companies.
HiTex has completed the first of two Super Single Drilling 1,400 hp rig with a depth rating of 15,000 to 18,000 feet. The rig was completed as of April 30, 2009.
HiTex has (2) 1,000 hp Drilling Rigs with a depth rating of 12,000 feet (vertical or horizontal) with 4 ½ drill pipe. These rigs were newly constructed in late 2007 for urban drilling, featuring a small footprint, low noise (68 db and lower), 25 loads for quick rig-up and rig-down. These special features enable us to give you the highest quality drilling with the lowest cost.
In addition to the drilling rigs, as well as various support equipment, Hitex has (2) Well Completion and Service Systems, each comprising of a 500 HP Workover rig, a 500 HP Tulsa Triplex pump (Reverse Unit) and a 2.5 Bowen Power Swivel. These systems are currently used for deepening wells with 4 ½ or 5 ½ casing, drilling cement, CIBP & composite plugs. HiTex offers a package deal that includes the 500 hp Workover Rig, Reverse Unit with Power Swivel, Catwalk and Piperacks along with various other equipment for a reduced rate.
To service and support the drilling rigs and other equipment HiTex has established a 10 acre service yard with a maintenance shop and supply house for spare parts. THis yard is located on the Parker and Palo Pinto COunty line near Mineral Wells, Texas for easy access to the Barnett Shale 10 County area. HiTex facilities provide the equipment and capacity to design, build and service its own equipment in an expedient manner.
