  • 1982 - 1987: Alexander Resources, Inc. – Vice President managing operations of a Petroleum Land Brokerage company employing 35 Landmen
  • 1988 - 1991: Mitchell Energy Corp – Consultant responsible for contract negotiations, title examination and JOA’s.
  • 1991 – 2000:  Independent operator (Brian R. Stephens Operating), owned and operated over 50 wells in the North Texas region.
  • 2000- 2005: Vice President of Genesis Petroleum Corporation, an E&P company
  • 2005 – Present:  Partner in HiTex Holdings, Responsible for the day to day operations, including equipment procurement and construction.
